About Kathie StoveI am an editor, writer and trainer with over 15 years experience. I work from a purpose-built separate office at home, complete most jobs on electronic files, and communicate with clients by email and phone. I have a Bachelor of Science (Adelaide), a Postgraduate Diploma in Library and Information Management (UniSA) and membership of the prestigious Board of Editors in the Life Sciences. In 2008 the Institute of Professional Editors, Australia’s peak body for editing, granted me the status of distinguished editor. I am a former president of the Society of Editors, South Australia, and was convenor of the group that developed Australian Standards for Editing Practice.
